Annual General Meeting
The club's Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Ferns Community Centre on Friday January 7, 2022, beginning at 7 p.m. sharp.
In line with Covid-19 restrictions, masks must be worn, and a Covid vaccination certificate or proof of recovery must be shown in order to gain entry. If circumstances mean it is not possible to meet in person on that date, the meeting will instead be held online, and relevant details will be issued in advance of the meeting.

Officer reports may be viewed in the Club Yearbook available for download below. Printed copies of the Yearbook will be circulated on the night. Any paid-up full member who wishes to view the club financial statements in advance of the meeting may request same by contacting Treasurer George Murphy at (086) 2231756

Motion 1 - Submitted by Management Committee
That the following membership rates be adopted for 2022:
Adult Player Membership: €100
Non-player Membership & Student Player Membership: €50
Youth Membership (i.e. Under 18s): €30
Social/Walking Membership: €20
Club Ferns: €300 or Standing Order of €25 per month.
Gym Membership (Single): €200 or Standing Order of €20 per month
Gym Membership (Couple): €300 or Standing Order of €30 per month
Gym Membership (Student or Person over 65 years of age): €150 or Standing Order of €15 per month
Adult Player + Gym Membership: €200
Student Player + Gym Membership: €150
Youth Player + Gym Membership (Youth must be turning 18 during 2022): €130
Club Ferns + Gym Membership: €300 + additional €50 for each gym user. Standing Order of €30 per month if one gym user, or €35 per month if two gym users.
Motion 2 - Submitted by Pat O'Hagan
That only players who have paid membership be allowed to play for adult teams. Insurance is one big reason, and fairness another.
Motion 3 - Submitted by Pat O'Hagan
That all underage team managers and mentors be Garda vetted and a paid-up member of the club. The club would be badly exposed in the event of something going wrong.
Motion 4 - Submitted by Pat Lawlor
That team mentors and trainers for underage teams should be club members and appointed by the proper protocol of the club.
Motion 5 - Submitted by Pat Lawlor
That all players should be club members and make some effort to train with the team.
CLUB CONSTITUTION
A revised Club Constitution was approved at Congress 2021. Rule 3.5 of the GAA Official Guide (Part 1) states that it shall govern the affairs of all GAA clubs and that each club is required to adopt it. A copy of the Constitution may be downloaded below.
