An outline by Jamie Dunbar of the club's Player Pathway Programme, currently in development, wa the highlight of last night's Coiste na nÓg annual meeting. Jamie outlined how he and others are currently working on putting together the document, which is aimed at setting out a "whole of life" approach to how people can be part of the club, from the moment they first come to play hurling and football in the nursery to how they can become involved in coaching and/or administration when their playing days finished.
It's hoped to launch the Programme in the coming months, and it is to be regularly reviewed and updated as the years go on.
Coiste Chairman Peter Nolan also spoke at the meeting, to give an outline of hopes and plans for the year ahead. There were almost 40 people in attendance, and the enthusiasm was plain to see.
